I tried to get the R&M foundation brush that someone said was really good with one of the £5 vouchers but was told the till said no, as it's for cosmetics only, not accessories. Did your till bleep and they did an over ride, or did it go through first thing. I might try it in another branch now I've read this.
btw I'm the person that wrote about the new P&P set, if no one has a link (I've not seen it on the site anywhere) I'll try and see if I can upload a digital photo of it on here. Don't know if that works but I'll have a go.
Hi pinkytots- Thak you for the offer but please don't go to any trouble re a picture. I will keep an eye out in my local store as i planned to buy the serum alone so the set sounds perfect for my mum(plus hopefully a free gwp and highlighter for myself lol).
The R&M set went through fine with the voucher without the dreaded bleep. I asked the SA to try it for me as i wasn't sure myself but it was grand. It was in the little maroon case similar to the case that the metallics compact came in so maybe they classify that as different from brushes?? I have no idea but i want the full size foundation brush as well so will have a go at getting that next week. HTH x:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

Were these brushes free with the voucher or did you have to pay some money?
Thanks2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
I did a couple of good shops today:D
!st transaction:
Returned another unwanted gift and bought 2 x sanctuary bathing products and got GWP free. For anyone who hasn't seen this yet. It is gorgeous, so go and have a look. Inside is a £3 off sanctuary voucher. But, the voucher only works on products in white packaging (SA confirmed this. Will keep mine to use with the next lot of skincare vouchers:D ) total to pay 1p:j

Thanks
They originally cost £10 so i used one of the vouchers and got it for £5. I was really pleased with it as i got this metallics compact in the same colour case reduced to £5 last week:

and got the matching make up bag reduced online before xmas. It nearly (but not quite lol) makes up for missing all the ruby and millie sets in the 75% sale  HTH x:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

Looks like we've got another silly situation where different things happen in different Boots branches!Today I bought the Sanctuary Moisturiser (so this was in white packaging, the facial stuff) after recommendations yesterday, and got the GWP. I then took the £3 voucher out of that GWP - thanks very much to whoever posted that there was a voucher inside the box, I would never have looked otherwise! - and used it to pay for a Bathing products gift set. Unfortunately, this was £12.50, so after I'd had the £3 taken off I didn't spend the £10 necessary to get the £5 No7/R&M voucher - I should have bought some crisps or chocolate to spend the exra 50p, doh!:o
did you get the GWP with the gift set. I tried today with a foot set in a bag that was £5 and it made the GWP go through the till as £10 IYKWIM. I swapped it in the end for a foot scrub but was gutted as i really wanted the set.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
Are you all trying to get the brushes that are in pink cardboard packages on a seperate stand with all the manicure and nail stuff? The brushes that go through are just in a clear cellophane wrapper no card and are at the end of the r&m stand. Never tried to get the foundation brush too mean to spend much extra but I think they was always one brush that even on the end of stand brushes wouldn't work with the voucher.
My local (Cheshire Oaks) doesn't stock Ruby & Millie or Jemma Kidd cosmetics so the brush was on an aisle with other brushes from other companies and there was a small selection. The foundation brush was just in a see through wallet, should that have gone through?0 -

Yes, I didn't have a problem - do you think your problem was because your foot set was only £5 and you need to spend £10 to get the GWP?0 -

Sorry i should have been clearer, I was trying to buy the set along with a body wash that was £5.25 so would have come to £10.25 overall. Perhaps it was because that set had miniature versions of two foot products- were the products in your gift set full sized by any chance? Its madness trying to work out all these boots offers lol:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0
