Compacks DVD Recorder £69.99 (Selected Somerfield Stores Only?)

I was in somerfield (Armthorpe) earlier and was extremely shocked to see a Compacks DVD recorder for £69.99 (possibly a couple of pence less). The player was silver and seemed quite standard but for £70, who cars if it's not got all the bells and whittles.

It was (and is) the only one on the shelf but It was properly priced and didn't appear to be on 'sale' or a mangers special etc. As such it should be available at other somerfield stores.

dont touch these with a bargepole i work in woolies we have had these for about a year and most came back - they are okay but crap build quality

Yeah there's one in my Kwik Save in Whitley Bay reduced down to £69.99 from I think £99.99 , it's been there for about a week, and last week when I was hunting round Somerfield in Wallsend for the Medion portable DVD player I believe the Compacks was £69.99 there as well.

I bought one of this crappy machines last year i had to return it back to woolworths after 4 weeks. I am unable to watch anything i recorded on it on any other player/PC. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!!!!
