£30 Admin fee from fitness first

Hi, I am looking to join a fitness club in Edinburgh close to me which is in town. Fitness first springs into mind being 2 miles away. Anyway, I see in thier website that they charge £37 / month + £30 admin fee... is the admin fee refundable or is it taken? It is very expensive if that is the case

It's some years since I was a member of Fitness First, but I have no recollection of them ever refunding me any money.
Surely there's a cheaper option than £37 per month, don't they want customers or something?!:wave:0
