Whilst I agree some chemicals etc are not healthy for us or the environment...
But notice popularity of organic items just wondered how to know what you are getting, If you buy organic from your supermarket do you know what county its from… or even if the seeds etc are Natural or just a result of years of cross breeding of plants etc to give us sweeter more colourful etc not necessarily healthier to us or the planet organic produce, If a grower in Peru earning a small amount for his crops does not use pesticides etc not because he does not want to but cannot afford them? Then when the soil is useless from over farming etc just goes and cuts down a bit more forest… How stringent is an organic verifier? In countries wear corruption is abundant do they check every item or just soil sample or check the amount of crops they can produce on the land , Does it matter weather the land would be sustainable or just a desert in a few years, I have also noticed organic items seem to be packed quite a lot e.g. four organic potatoes/tomatoes wrapped in plastic not generally in large boxes, The more you see the big stores, stars that work for them pushing the wonders of it can’t help but think there in it for the profit, We all have to work harder longer thus producing more item’s taking up more natural recourses fossil fuels etc eventually destroying the planet to earn the money to buy the organic items is organic just good for big corporations but not the consumer and environment ?

In terms of verification, the soil association standard of approval is the best thing to look out for.0
