Referrals sound good, but I gave up counting mine when I got to 83 "friends".

I started in December and have never had more than 18 "friends" do searches in any month. When I had 28 "friends" they were earning me 60 to 80p per day, now I have over 83 and they are still earning me 60 to 80p per day.

I've got "friends" that earned me 25p in the last week of December, but in March they only earned me 3p. Did they all start out full of enthusiasm and do a lot of search then get sick and stop?

I don't know why, but the longer you have a "friend" the less they search. And, for me at least, 75% of "friends" who sign up never do a search.
  • Can I ask a quick question about my search funds?

I registered yesterday and used the site (mostly!!) for legitimate searches. With what I am currently working on at the moment, I am searching an awful lot for random statistics and legislation and what have you...

Anyway, I got kicked off the site yesterday for apparently contravening terms and conditions and not conducting legitimate searches. I was wondering, then, whether anyone else has had this problem and whether they suspend your account permenantly or whether they just let you off with a warning or something?

    Many thanks

Do you mean you have had your account cancelled?

I've known some people get warnings about their searches, and some who have been told they are under investigation for click fraud, but never know anyone actually get their account cancelled. Usually an email explaining why you did so many searches is enough for them.
  • No, it hasn't been cancelled. The message that I get on screen just says that it has been referred to their 'click fraud' department and temporarily suspended.

It has just really annoyed me today that I have searched for about 70/80 things and am not getting paid for it!!

How often are you doing those searches?? Are all the searches for the same sites??

My friend is being watched by the "click fraud" department as he decided to put the same serach so many tmes he lost count.
    CashBackKings - £122.56 (£175.71 redeemed)
    MySearchFunds - £61.55
    OnePoll - £7.30
  • I was doing them quite sporadically, around 70/80 over the course of a day.

The searches were for loads of different sites, from finding a hotel in Oslo, to current Iranian mortgage legislation! :-S
