  • Are you sure the business actually makes any money?
  • It does now, it's taken ages to build up. I honestly reckon I can get 1k - 1 .5k a month from it.
  • First thing - please don't panic.

Can you perhaps post an SOA? That's a list of your monthly incomings (average wages, benefits, anything else), and your monthly outgoings (rent, food, car, clothes, everything you spend) and a list of your debts - amount owed, APR, minimum payment.

There are a lovely lot of people on this board, who will do their best to help:D
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.
  • I do mystery shopping in between the school runs (our kids are a bit accident prone, twice this week I have been called by the scool because they have had accidents) but it doesn''t give that much. My husband often works nights too so I couldn't get a job stacking shelves at night.I have been combing the house for stuff to sell.
  • Er is that a statement of affairs?
  • Sorry, yes, it is.

It will help other people support you, you don't need to give personally identifying details, though, don't worry!

Hi there..firstly don't panic...I am sure we can find a way to help you out of this ..yes it's a statement of affairs and that really helps us see a clearer picture. When you have done that we can make a start.
Do you drive?..do you have a car?...if you do you can maybe earn some money either from home doing peoples ironing or go to peoples houses cleaning when the kids are at school some places offer term time only working as well..just thoughts
  • Oh I see I will work on it (SOA) tomorrow, would need to use the phone and everyone is asleep.I would be scared to do anyones ironing since I really am bad at it. I could clean though. Or what about being a home help? How could I be one of them? What about a dog looking after/walking service?

    hi facing the future,
Don't forget with the business that you will need to set aside enough money to pay tax on the income. The tax man won't wait when the time comes.
    Reduce,re-use, recycle.

  • Thanks, I know - the last tax bill I used the credit card!!!Our accountant told me our next bill would be June so we will of course have to have money for then too. Gazooks....trying not to panic.Everything seems to be in thouseands - if I think that too much I won't cope. I am trying to think of the quickest legal way to make lots of money!!!!!
