My self and my fiances mother are about to get a joint mortgage. trouble is is was declined today when our IFA tried the application online. im a graduate (two years ago) in a 25K job, good credit history (only late on 2 credit card payments through me underestimating dritec bank transfers ). she is 53, 13K left on her first mortage, preorty worth at least 95K and in a 25K job too. anwya, i didnt feel i was aksek enough questions for the webserver to knoe i had bad history, the only thing i can think thta might have done it, would be the address thing. the fiancees brother (who lives wth the mum who is goning njoint on the mortgage has really bad credit hostory and is tryingn to declaehimself backrupt) he has always stayed at that addreess since before and after he came our of jail. it never said who was to blame, tit just said "declined"
Thererfore, would taht be enough to through a spanner in the works having her address marked? do they even still makr addresses? she has good history, and apart from those 2 late payemnts( by one day) so do i!!!
Thanks for any advice.

It could only affect your application if they have a financial link eg joint bank account. Living at the same address doesn't make any difference. You should both get a copy of your credit report (only £2) and take it from there. You'll be able to see if there's any incorrect info on there, such as incorrect financial associations etc - has been known.0
