Hi, we are doing a complete bathroom re fit and have been having a look at the HHI website.
Love the idea that they do everything including taking away old suite, electrics ,plumbing ,floors etc.
No idea of over all cost yet but was wondering if anyone had used them and if they were happy with the results?
BTW i'm in tne Newtownabbey area

How does a brown cow give white milk, when it only eats green grass?

I take it it is HHI as in your post? Never used them but they are a upvc company therfore I think that's what they would be using for your bathroom floor, walls and ceiling. If that is what you want I would ask for recent installations and speak to the customers - most people (esp in NI) will give an honest answer good or bad.. It won't cost anything for a quote just don't sign anything there and then :eek:Dave0

Been speaking with HHI just last week regarding Facias, Soffits etc... & will probably end up going with them as they're the cheapest so far ...
However, what I wasn't sure about was the initial quote of £2079 that was immediately discounted by 40% !0 -

Yes I realise the whole thing would be done in upvc, looks good in their online pics but not so sure what it'd be like in "real life".We are looking for something thats really low maintainance They have a good range of bathroom suites, showers and accessories but it'll be interesting to see the prices.
Going to get a quote from them on Sat morning and see the products .
We've used HHI before on our old house for cladding and were very happy with the results and the price. How does a brown cow give white milk, when it only eats green grass?0 -

Hi, as I said in the previous post, they did the cladding on our last house and were really good to deal with. At the time we got a discount too, might be a bit of a sweetner I think :rolleyes:How does a brown cow give white milk, when it only eats green grass?0 -
Just had a look at their website and the bathrooms do look great and would be really handy if one company could do the whole thing. Let us know what price they quote you. We had B&Q out last year (quotation only) and to redo our small bathroom with a basic suite and shower unit including tiling was £6k which was way out of our price range.0

God thats a scary figure:eek: and no way could we afford that either.
Our bathroom is small too so i'll let you know how much they quote us on SaturdayHow does a brown cow give white milk, when it only eats green grass?0 -
Thought I would email them and see if they could give me an idea of price and this is what I have got back ....""" Thanks for your enquiry. We are currently doing a full refurbishment, for example based on a room of 8ft (2400) x 6ft (1800). you get a new bath, wash hand basin and new toilet, fitted and plumbed, your old suite taken away, Any pvc wall panel. pvc ceiling and tile effect flooring of your choice. work done for £2400""""
This doesnt sound too bad...... might get them out to have a look at mine.... dont know what the pvc wall panels would look like but no harm in enquiring!!!0 -
I've done a couple of these bathrooms and if done properly it looks very well. Walls are warmer to the touch than tiles, however you do need to be careful as the panels can be damaged if hit hard, eg by a door handle etc.0

I rang them about getting a quote and was told they don't actually come out to your house.
You have to take the basic measurements and go see them and they work it out for you based on your requirements.
Suppose the £2400 you were quoted was for the basic refit and if you want extras they'll be added on to the price
Still even for the basic one thats a great priceHow does a brown cow give white milk, when it only eats green grass?0 -

If by some remote chance one of my 3 brats (sorry i mean little darlings) did manage to damage a panel?
