Nintendo Wii guarantee card/registration?

Hi,

Normally when I buy say a washing machine, there is a card or a website that I can use to register the product for the warranty.

Have the Nintendo Wii but cannot see anywhere or a card that allows me to register the product.

I have register at www.club-nintendo.com where I get points(stars). Is this equivalent to the "warranty"?

Yep looks like you register online.We recently did the same for the xbox 360 elite as there was no warranty card.

You don't need to register a warranty anyway - it's for their protection, not yours, and for any recalls. Proof of purchase is enough for any warranty to be valid.
