  • Can't believe I made it (didn't in January). Total for Feb. was £370.86. £95 of this was shopping around for car insurance (on an already decent price) plus overtime this month which I don't normally get. Signed up for March.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

  • Hi Guys

    Well done all.
I made my modest £147.82 but was only doing the half challenge.

Think I will sign up again for the half - £5 a day - in March and not put to much stress on myself!

This month I'm going to start writing to newspapers and mags...anyone care to join me? It could be fun and silly and quite lucrative too!!

I'm still stalling over matched betting ...but maybe I'll try it too........

See you all on the March thread - cheers for everyone's amusing and encouraging posts.

  • Well I had thought I wouldn't reach the total this month but another £83 to add for me today - sold some old jewellery, mostly odd earrings and chains but a couple of rings and gold bracelet I got for my 18th (not worn it in years though). Took my wedding/engagement/eternity rings too but brought them home as I couldn't face parting with them (how sad is that?!)

    Total for month £321.43

  • I sold some stuff on e-bay that made me around £300, it was old stuff from my nail business that didnt really take off and was just lying around

I also made over £200 from ahhemm, txting, a little sidelne i have and decided to make full use of it, (and bonuses offered) while i had the council tax demand over my head ( which has now been dropped from £880 to £242 due to a computer error!!

I thought for march that if i still felt under pressure to make the target then i CAN still do it, (just need more motivation) but so pleased that i completed my first ever MSE challenge, just wanna concentrate on out lyyds tsb card now, debt free by aug2010? watch this space!!
