Kettle descaling balls - anyone know what they are?!

I will give one a try. I need to buy a new kettle as mine is leaking. Maybe they work better if they are there at the start.0

Tip that I used (found on here but can't remember who by
sorry) was to use half a bottle of white vinegar, same again of water, boil then leave for ages (or overnight). Then pour away, rinse and limescale goes with it. Worked really well for me.
Might be a good idea to warn everyone in household what you are doing. Forgot to mention it to DH - he came home from work, put kettle on and made gravy to go over his tea. He did say it tasted abit funny! Luckily he has stomach made of iron :rolleyes:0
