Well, I've successfully avoided Boots for a few years now. Everyone from shop floor staff to head honchos at its HQ do not have a clue how to communicate with customers. They never hold up to their part of the deal and always renegade on offers. It's most famous and last straw for me was a couple of years ago when they offered 50% off for new customers to its website. I ordered £100s of stuff and they totally ignored me. On prescriptions and other goods and the amount of people I've convinced to shop elsewhere I guess I've lost them about £20k of business each year. And they also have a pretty appaling record on animal testing! Superdrug is cheaper, friendlier and animal friendly!0

Well the stores can't have it both ways - they either have the promotions to get more customers through the doors, or they don't so they don't have to complain.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
I'm joining you in boycotting Boots, I didn't get my online transaction tracked through Quidco and I had to call an 0870 number to chase my £55 worth of clubcard points after being told by the local store it was not their problem even though it aid online to take my card into a store to get my points.
They are joining a select list of retailers who I don't use due to ignorant staff and uncaring attitude to customers and their service.0 -
Will this do, you can go to Boots now, no problem...;)“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0

These businesses really take the P. They want customers through their doors, offer a promotion then complain when it works!
Perhaps the staff should remember that in most cases it's not the company you work for that pays your wages, its the customers ergo no customers no job.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0
