It means they did not receive the spreadsheet as an attachment to your email. Or that they could not open it for some reason.

I thought that, but ive sent it as it came , or to my knowledge i have so cant understand it.:huh:

If you used something other than excel to open the file, such as open office, it may be that when you saved it, it was saved in open office format instead of excel.

Just a guess, but it may be worth opening the file again and doing a "save as" and seeing what options you have.

I haven't actually used Open Office myself, but try opening the file again and using "Save as" then in the dropdown list see if it has an option to save the file as an excel spreadsheet. it should be .xls.
