    HI

I am looking to send a CCA to a DCA in the UK. We currently live in Canada and the Uk DCA has employed the help of a Canadian DCA who are being a nightmare - threatening phonecalls, phonecalls to my husbands emplyer etc. Today I requested a copy of the CCa and the man got VERY nasty and rude and insulting - said that was it no more Mr Nice Guy and we were now gonna get it - he then phoned myhusbands employer.

I dont want to deal withthe canadian side of things ( they dont own the debt they work alongside the UK agency that now owns the debt) This man is threatening to take us to court in canada etc The debt was accrued in the Uk before we left last year through UK CC company.

I had sent a minimum payment letter / offer and according to this man today it has been refused. He is saying we cant conact the Uk branch as they just put us back to him - i dont believe this at all.

I want to ask for a copy of the CCA - so Ihave devised the letter to go to the UK company ( LInk Financial) but it says to send a postal order for £1 not a cheque as DCA can scan your signature onto a fake CCA. This worries me as I have already sent a personal cheque for the minimum payment in the past so they have the signature already! Also I can't get a £1 postal order here in canada so i dont know how to " pay" the £1.

any help greatly appreciated please - im desparate now

    This CCA letter

if 1 DCA is acting on behalf of 6 original creditors do I send £6 for the payment?
  • I went through this last year, using the template to write to Allied International Credit and heard nothing for eleven months. I have now received a letter from Robinson Way saying that THEY have been authorised to collect the debt. Do I have to go through the process again, or does AIC's failure to provide proof mean that the debt is unenforceable?

Sharky I'm not sure what it is you're wanting to do. Do u want a copy of the CCA or to make a complaint about AIC?
