Having just moved a debt from a Barclaycard to a new 0% card, so I wait until I get a statement from BC before I think about doing a BT onto that card? (assuming I get a good deal) Even though I've cleared the card, am I right in thinking that interest is still applicable on the old debt?
Also, can I put a block on the card so that nothing new is spent on it?

a/ I understand you have moved a debt off barclaycard to a ne card at 0%,the next bit is confusing why would you want to do a BT to it as this would create a debt on your Barclaycard that you have just cleared?
You may get a small interest charge on the amount you had on your Barclaycard before it was moved.
You cannot normally block a card unless it is a shared account and you are the main account holder and you are blocking another associated cardie.your son/daughters card.If you want to block your own card to stop yourself from using it just cut it up.
I hope that helps if not post again.Previously known as Bokken, registered at MSE in Nov 04,computer glich deleted my access but it is fun building up my stars from scratch,again.:D0
