I need a good value carpet washer

I'm looking for a carpet washer for around £100 and spotted this in argos

It seems quite good although I don't believe they would have sold too many at it's original price. it has an accompanying handheld cleaner and a 5 year manufacturer's guarantee(again don't know how useful this is if it means you have to send it off to Vax at your own expense)
Looking at the specs it appears that it is quite underpowered at only 600W compared to most other cleaners and it's water tanks are just 2L in size.
Despite this I would still have been tempted but nowhere else sells them which always makes me feel wary.
So I want to know what other washers are out there at around the same price but perhaps offer better value.

Why not consider a reconditioned Bissell, that comes with a 12 month warranty?

Thank you for that link, I've been looking at Bissell machines for a while but they are so expensive.

Buying a reconditioned one is a great idea, do they come with full instructions?

I'm fed up having to hire a machine and I think this will pay for its self after 2 carpet cleans. They also great reviews too, can't wait to buy one

No problem at all.
I'm sure they do come with the full instructions. This is actually the same as the 'user guide', if you click on the last link i posted, then the model you want, you will see a user guide link, click on this and you can save it on your pc - this is what i've done in the past, so i'm all prepared for when the machine arrives;)
