Beware Expedia Rip Off- New Misleading £10pp Admin Fee!!!

Just been caught out by the new £10 'admin fee' on Expedia which is not included in the final price authorisation screen or in price comparison sights such as moneysupermarket. No-one in Expedia seems to be able to tell me how long this has been in place.
I only noticed after checking my bank statement and seeing the flight price + another transaction for admin fees.
I have twice spoken to Expedia who insisted they make this clear when they have the final £ amount on screen for your authorisation to the card... after checking this, I called back as it does no such thing! A Manger then explained that it is in the previous screen just above the box that you tick for terms and conditions.
In my opinion this is misleading, as on the final screen where you authorise the flight amount to come off your card it states that the price includes all fee's and taxes... except of course the admin fee which will come out of your account in a separate transaction!
This is pure profiteering! In addition to the money Expedia was previously making, they now make an additional £10 profit for every single person they put on a flight! Make sure you factor this in before booking!
If there are any legal experts out there (or just sensible opinions!) I would love to hear your thoughts!

I think the admin fee has always been in the left side box of the screen as you put different elements of your trip in.
I was charged £20 for a £1400 holiday but on the other hand they don't charge for using a credit card.
