School Trousers Help

Can anyone help me as to where I can buy school trousers at this time of year. My son, age 12 will not wear the polyester type ones which are available in M & S and BHS. In September I got him some black canvas type trousers from Asda, when he is playing football he keeps splitting them at the crotch (!!!) and they have got to the point that I cant stitch them up any more.
Does Anyone know if Asda have an online or telephone ordering service or of any Mail order places that might stock this type of fabric at this time of year.
Why do shops think we only need to buy school uniform from June until September??

Next do uniforms online all year round, I remember they used to do some combat type school trousers - may be similar to what you are after - worth a look.0
