I recently signed a 3-month subscription to get 3 copies of Official Nintendo Mag. The offer included a free game. The game never arrived. I asked about it after 2 months, but they say there was an overwhelming response, so no I can't have one or the cash alternative. What can I do?

I don`t think there is anything you can do unfortunatly
Most of these types of offers that include a free gift usually state in very small words "while stocks last" :mad:

I would phone again and ask if there is even an alternative gift that they could give you. I did this once with Marie Claire Magazine and although the gift had sold out , they emailed a list of gifts I could pick from. I also take a copy of the advert as some companies have tried to fob me off that it was limited stock only, whereas I have the proof that it didnt state 'limited stock'.

I doubled checked every word on the advert again, just now. The offer clearly states "future publishing reserve the right to substitue the item for one of similar value." But they won't they just give me the same !!!!!!!!. I wouldn't have signed up without the free gift offer.

the "freebie thread" is for links to offers to freebies, this is stated in the "read before you post" at the top of the forum
