John Lewis Own Brand Washing Machine

Anyone got a JL own brand washing machine and if so, is it any good. Any idea who makes them for JL?

That was a surprise to me - obviously a new introduction - saves people trying to price match them.

I'd ask, I'm sure the salesperson will know and be happy to give the info. I found this on the website which may help - "Carrying the John Lewis name, our range of machines are both economical, well built and well designed. Manufactured with reliable German technology" - My guess is they're probably Bosch / Siemens or even Meile - another trick is to compaire the with other products - ie look at the back of each machine to see if it matches up with another make. Years ago I bought a Hotpoint dishwasher, when I compaired the inside with a Bosch it was 100% identical!

John Lewis washing machines are AEG - they even look identical save for the badge!
