Hi,
Unfortunately the leather solution that came with our suit almost two years ago can not not be found. The chairs are looking very dull and certainly need a clean. I cleaned them in November last year with what was like a shampoo type substance. I have turned the kitchen upside down and I just cannot find it.
What else is safe to use on leather? I need something that will lift the dirt and restore the shine? I have loads of cleaners in the kitchen and I'm afraid to try them in case I ruin them.
Thanks, hope you can help.

Thanks everyone. I don't have any soap flakes but I will be looking at some of the links Pink provided. Hope I have everything in so I can get them done tonight ready and dry for tomorrow. x

Hi, I have fairy honey and almond milk fabric conditioner. I read on one of the threads Pink supplied that this works really well. I have tried baby wipes and they tend to make the chairs feel sticky...
How much Fairy do I add to a sink of water?
Thanks.

Hi
our new little puppy  :mad:has taken to positioning himself on our black leather sofa's and has made them a bit grubby.... they were in need of a good clean even before he arrived....
any good tips for cleaning up leather safely and easily?
Thanks0 -
I use a cleaner from wilkinsons its called Eezit and costs 1.99. or 2.99 cannot remember now. Its brilliant you will be amazed how the sofa comes up. Or you can use dreft handwash flake just a little in luke warm water but make sure to dry the suite with a towel. I also use chepa white flannels so i can see how filthy we really are:D

You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !

My black leather sofa is not new so I must admit I've never looked for a proper leather cleaner however, I use baby wipes and find they always do the trick! They get a nice clean once a week.Official DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0

After following Kim and Aggies advice i now use soap flakes. They are in a blue box and sold in most supermarkets. I normally use these once a week. Get a bowl of warm water and put a hanful of the flakes in. Give the sofa a good wash, but make sure you rinse off properly. My settee is white leather and even after my 2 year old and Shar - pei pup have been on there it always comes up really clean. In between washes i just use baby wipes. HTH.0
