I saw that they are in fact using AMAZON, and boast (quite rightly) of their intelligent software that finds the lowest price.

The contract is actually with Amazon, and uses your own Amazon basket at checkout.

I have seen wii play and remote for less than £24.99, meaning that if you managed to sell the game for even £10 (some say they have got £20, lucky blighters), then it has cost £15 for the remote.

The price as at 7/5/9 is now £23.98.

If they have to source from Amazon, and find the cheapest there , then they have to rely on merchants advertising at a low price.

Hence as merchants come and go, the price is likely to fluctuate a little.

There is one trick you can do, that is to join to a catalogue company that is offering brand new customers (at the time of joining only) £30 off £60 spend, or £10 off £25 spend, etc.

I needed 2 remotes for the WII to put in the 2 light guns I bought, so as to avoid putting on and taking off the protective silicon cover/jacket all the time.

Depending on what merchant you decide to join, and if you go for £15 off £25 (for only one remote) or £30 off £60 (for 2) that works out as either £18 a remote or £15 a remote average cost.

I'm not sure I understand your post? You've quoted the person asking the question & seem to be implying that they are giving wrong adviCe? Which is rather confusing? Also, in a question such as this I don't think there's such a thing as wrong advice as answers are based on personal experience.

Thank you for this, was lookinh at normal shops but this is loads cheaper. Will be able to buy about 5 weeks earlier (i save £2 a week to treat myself).;)

Considering the trade in price at CeX is only £2, I would be suprised if you could get £20 or even £10 for the game by itself.

I reckon anyone willing to pay more must think it comes with the Remote as well ...
