I often do this and never come out empty handed.

I've never tried the offcuts thing (I will be in the future) but whenever I buy something I alwasy ask if they've got anything I can have for free! They often have seconds behind the till that they can give away (usually if you spend lots but sometimes smiling nicely works as well) and the only times I haven't got something is becuase they didn't have anything at the time!

They'll often give you little pots of things to try if you're not sure what will suit you the best (like with the moisturisers and things) but it's best to only do that if you really are undecided! :-)

oooh thanks also my sis said her friend used to be a tester for them and get loads to try was thinking about emailing them about it does anyone know about it?? my sis got me some yummy bath bombs for my b-day gold glitter ahhhh divine! esp with a glass of cava in your hand too hic!
