4 way extension socket lead req'd - a certain type

Hi

A few weeks ago i saw a particular type of 4 socket electrical extension lead (standard UK 3 pin) for sale in a national newspaper...i've lost the paper and can't find an identical one elsewhere. Basically it was designed like a normal rectangular lead (with individual on/off switch for each socket) but instead of having a lead trailing off with a plug at the end of it, the plug was directly fixed to the middle top of the rectangular panel, so that you just plugged it directly into your mains socket and it was almost like having 4 new sockets installed in your wall....the extension lead was sold in 2 versions: one with the plug at top of lead, and one with the plug fixed at bottom of lead (depending on your mains socket).
Does anyone know where i can buy such an extension lead from?

Haven't seen that type, but Focus (and probably others) sell replacement 13A triple sockets which directly replace a single (or double) 13A socket.

I saw the same thing in the Daily Telegraph a few weeks ago and they have them in their online shop but they are 4 times the price of the one the previous poster has shown you!:eek:

Forgot to mention, there is VAT on top of the prices.

we had a three plug one very similar to waht youre descibing be carrefull they do over heat more than flexed multi socket ones
