I am looking for a way to drop about 5,000 leaftlets through letter boxes. I have worked out that doing this by hand is more cost effective than post.
Looking to target hastings and bexhill areas. anyone know of any local firms/people that can do this?

Couldnt you target your local newsagents to tuck the leaflet into a free local newspaper that they would be delivering anyway?"Life is like a game of cards. either that or get a lot of excercise doing it yourself!
do you have/know any teenagers who can do it for you for a small fee?

sunday am trip out for the family.
we used to do this as a kid, advertising my dad's business.
depending on the service/product you are selling
(a) you guarantee that the leaflets are delivered
(b) your target audience is known"See you on the Other Side"0 -
It is better to deliver them separately and not have them included with free newspapers... how many people throw these away without looking at them (after looking for vouchers!)I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

if you do hire someone be careful..i see countless bundles of leaflets and free magazines dumped near my house..
In the local train station recently there were two teens handing out leaflets, and for every one someone took they threw one on the floor..not good for the business involved as not only is it a waste of money, you canbe fined for these things.Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -
Agree with comments about free paper, I just scoop the leaflets into the black box as soon as I've checked there are no vouchers in them. Also if you do go that way, try to check they are actually delivered: local group paid to have small area leafletted to advertise a local event through local free paper, but several roads were missed entirely, and there was a huge hassle to 'retrieve' a bundle of leaflets which had never reached the distributors so the organisers could 'catch up'. Then a row about the bill.
But the Royal Mail will deliver leaflets with the post. That might be more effective, probably more expensive, but worth enquiring about. I presume it's cheaper than actually 'posting' leaflets or they wouldn't offer the service!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
the cheapest way its to pay some guys to deliver the leaflets, usually people pay 25 pounds for 1000 leaflets. its not too much but...."I've never had a problem with drugs. I've had problems with the police."

Why not just take out an advert in the local papers instead of dropping yet more junk through letterboxes?
I have a clearly worded polite notice on my asking people not to put leaflets etc through my door but they either cannot read or are completely ignorant.
I'm completey fed up with it.0 -

I just stuff all the leaflets I can into one of their own prepaid envelopes and send it back!
