Hi there
Just should warn all of you about Pro-Quip wind resistant umbrellas. They've got a double-hood that means that they don't 'blow out' in the wind as it escapes through the gap between the hoods... they also do provide good coverage from the rain... so it seems like they're a good buy... should last a long time... what could go wrong?
Well, the material quality of the spokes and connectors is incredibly cheap. It's as if because they produced an umbrella that could withstand wind, they had to build in life-shortening elements elsewhere. And, after a handful of uses, the PLASTIC connectors to the SPOKES started snapping. Two have gone, and because they're adjacent to each other, it's all over!
So, we've got a wasted umbrella that was 'worth' £30 - in less than two months... you have been warned!!
