  • I got these last week, a complete bargain. When my 6 yr old was a baby they were £2.50-£3. We now have a pack in the bathroom, one in the front room and one in the car and a spare.

  • That puts my 3 pack for £3 to shame in Asda today then!
(on the plus side, Asda are doing the handy packs for 31p! About £1.29 elsewhere!)

As per usual, Morrisons have some great deals advertised - but somehow never seem to have the stock on the shelves

When they had the toilet rolls on offer I went in 3 times, and a friend called in twice - never had any in stock and was always waiting for delivery.

I called into Morrisons specially to stock up on these wipes - shelves empty, but told to try again tomorrow - er, I've heard that so many times recently from Morrisons staff.

Does anyone know if they can give you a voucher to honour the deal when it IS in stock ? It is costing me a fortune in petrol and my time keep going back. Don't want to waste time/money chasing red herrings again.

Yesterday I got four 8 watt energy saver Philips light bulbs for £1 at my local Morrisons.

They have an 8 year lifetime, use 5 times less electricity and give out 40 watt of light. I thought these were a real bargain!:j
  • I couldn't agree more with The Old Bag but unfortunately Morrisons are not alone in this respect. I can't give an opinion on Tesco or Sainsbury as I don't use them (too far away) but Asda are no better believe me. In fact in general Asda more shelves seem to be void of products each time I go in. They had no Sunflower/Sesame bread in the other day at 3pm ish and they are open 24 hours. Oh yes and according to the Baker, its their best selling bread! The mind boggles. Sall
