Mixed fancy mushrooms

I bought a big pack of fancy asian-style mushrooms at the market this morning. So far, I am planning to saute them in butter, garlic and ginger and then freeze in small amounts to have on toast for breakfasts. But does anyone have any better ideas? I am the only mushroom eater in the house and there are a LOT of them.
Also, rhubarb crumble will freeze, won't it?

I like to fry them with garlic some white white, chuck in some mixed herbs then reduce and add cream.

I have some cooking at the moment. I fried them for a little while, then added some water and some ramen noodles. Have just added the 'instant soup' sachet, and will have with some strips of nori. Hope I can eat it - lip still numb from dentist.Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000

I once had a gorgeous mushroom stroganoff at a restaurant. I begged the chef for tips on how to recreate it, and he said butter, garlic, sherry and cream. It was to die for.0

Rhubarb crumble will freeze perfectly. I never think frozen dishes predominately mushroom freeze very well though as they tend to lose their 'body' too much; fine if they're part of something more elaborate though (casserole, stroganoff, risotto).

Looking at the inroads I made with my noodle dish, I reckon I can use them up!
Soup and crumble night tonight then ... the sea bass I was defrosting isn't defrosted, so we will have that tomorrow instead. And soup better with a new filling anyway.Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000 -
Mixed mushrooms also go really well in risotto - if you haven't enough fresh you can always add some dried ones as well - they taste great and add more texture. Enjoy!0
