Just a quick question and i wondered if anyone could help,
I get a car through work and its done as a car allowance, but i never really see the money i just get a fully mentained car, but have to put my own fuel in it and claim back 13p a mile for works miles, which is 95% of my mileage,
wouldnt be too bad but the car costs 14 - 17 a mile to run depending on conditions, is this a good deal and should i just keep my mouth shut or can i claim the difference back?
I know 3 p a mile dosent sound like much but i do allot of miles some months!!

Well, I do 90 miles a day just going to and from work on my own petrol and my own car. I also have to pay my own tax (£200pa approx), insurance (£35 per month) and maintenance.
Now ask yourself if you're getting a good deal0 -
Then add in tax costs, mot costs and servicingNicotine Free as of 17th December 06 :j0

Claim back your entitlement on the difference from the 40p you are allowed and the 13p you get, from the taxman.0
