Kingsize bedding

Just ordered a new kingsize bed - but we'll need new bedding!

Any recommendations on where to get cheap duvet cover sets, preferably online? Have my eye on a couple on eBay, but not sure about them. No Asda near, Tesco has a tiny range, and not many shops round here!

John Lewis have really good big kingsize bedding - a lot of king size bedding just isn't big enough in my experience (especially Ikeas) John Lewis have a really good sale on at the moment with lots of bedding reduced. Their seconds are really good and quite cheap and they wash really well. I've got loads of their bedding and it's really good . You could buy online but you would find much better deals in store.
    Hope this helps!

    How about

Check the internet money-off threads for any discount info or free gifts.

Also rosebys tend to have great bargains

    http://www.rosebys.co.uk for a store locator.

The problem buying via ebay is the posatge as they are heavy items. I don't think you would get such a great bargain online as you would on the highstreet. Also what about Peacocks? They sometimes have a nice selection.

    Happy Shopping x

Ikea in particular, don't use the same rulers that we do. Just about all their bedding is some strange "only known to Ikea" size. Makes me mad

The UK king size is actually what Americans call Queen size. We call their king size super king size.

I've spent the last couple of days working in the linens department of John Lewis (usually gift list) and was surprised when a woman said she was having to buy new bedding in the clearance as her John Lewis stuff had gone all bobbly. I was quite surprised and about to apologise when she added "..but we have had it all for 16 years!". It really is top quality stuff and very good value if you buy the seconds or special purchase items, especially the Egyptian cotton which can't be bettered.

It tends to shift fast as hotel owners bulk buy. A woman came in as she'd liked the bedding at a hotel she'd stayed at and had been told it was from John Lewis.
