Copied threads/posts don't contain thanks.

If you wanted to quickly remove thanks from a thead, simply copy it and delete the original

If you wanted to remove the thanks from a single post - and wanted to go to the extra effort necessary - you could:

• Go to split thread and tick only the thanked-post in question. This spilts it off to form a thread all on its own
• Find the thanked-post and make a copy of it
• merge the thanked-post and it's copy back into the original thread
• Delete the thanked-post leaving the copy which will look exactly the same as the original except without the thanks

You have to pay close attention to the date of the thanked-post when you're splitting it. If it's an old post, it might end up being listed way down the board index when you split it
