Hello.
Wanted to make fish pie this week, already had prawns in the freezer so bought some frozen asda smart price white fish fillets to go with them.
However couldn't fit them in the freezer so they have been in my fridge since tuesday. If I cook it tomorrow will it do us any harm? my 4 year old loves fish pie but I don't want to kill him.
I am trying to batch cook to save money and so far have done well this week made a curry, bolognese, chilli, sausage casserole, beef stew and an oriental thingy and would hate to waste the fish if I don't have to, even though it was only cheap.
thanks

im a chef and at work we give fish 3 days including the day you take it out, so that would take you to thursday, but i would say just use your senses - if it looks and smells ok then it probably is. in future if you cook the fish you could then keep it for another 3 days so you could quickly poach or steam it and stick it back in the fridge until you need to use it.0
