I got mine but don't use the bags as they start to decompose in the bin if you put any 'wet' fruity type things in. Just give it a good wash each time it's emptied

Folks, just a bit of extra info. We got one of these the last time they were on offer. If you don't see the free caddies on the shelf, be sure to ASK a member of staff. We thought they were out of stock, but it turned out someone had just forgotten to put them out :rotfl:

If you go here http://www.recyclenow.com/home_composting/in_your_area/in_your_area.html you can get cheap composting bins and the caddys (which are £2)..some areas get them FREE.

The bags were with all the other bin bags - when I got mine they were on a display at the end of the aisle

The bin is about 10" high, around 10" long by 6" wide, and is dark green.

tbh I use it when I'm doing my big prep at the start of the week, and empty it straight away, but tend only to put dro compostables during the week.

Thanks for that information - I bought one at the weekend, and was wondering how the bags are going to stand up to teabags, and so on. I will be very careful when I empty the caddy for the first time now!
