:DHi there
Hope I'm posting this in the right place, if not please move to correct board. I am just about to attempt a recipe I spotted in a magazine the other day. My cooking skills aren't great and we seem to eat the same things every week so thought I would try this 'Cheesy Beef Meatloaf' for a change:T . However when I read the article I kinda of skimmed the ingrediants:rolleyes: and thought 'great got all those'. Having now studied it properly I see it needs 2 tbsp chopped fresh thyme which I don't have:eek: My question is, I have a jar of dried cut thyme, will this do instead and if so how much of it do I use? (it smells quite strong!)
TIA:A

Dried thyme will do fine, use half a teaspoon at first and add a bit more if you feel it needs it - dried thyme is (I find) normally about twice as strong as fresh, so go up to a whole teaspoon if you like0

Heres hoping it turns out alright!
