Have we confirmed the weight yet. Searched everywhere but no joy, found this not for 105" but 103". Sorry copied to paste, continued searching and forgot where I found it.:o does it help at all.
Panasonic USA is now taking orders for the world's largest plasma TV set - a 103in model - though delivery won't be until some time next year.

Just in case you hadn't realised, 103in is big. The set is "bigger than a double-sized mattress", according to Reuters, and "almost as heavy as an upright piano"! Dimensions are 2.4 x 1.4 metres and weight 215 kg.

Just found another reference, using this as comparison 66Kg sounds about right. Thanks KrunchieUK
    Other Prototype TVs
The executive also showed off a prototype 50-inch plasma high-definition, thin TV. The display is 24.7 millimeters (0.97 inches) thick and weighs around 22 kilograms (48 pounds), half the weight of current high-definition TV models in similar sizes, Sakamoto said.

    Forget above statement -www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,320931,00.html
quotes " The plasma panel features an 8.84-million-pixel image resolution. Its screen is the equivalent of nine 50-inch sets" (Obviously its 3 x 3)

So thanks to the posts above the answer is:

    Size: 150"
    Resolution: 2160 by 4096 pixels
    Weight: 22 kilograms (48 pounds)

    Source: PC World

EDIT: Oh wait! That can't be right. That weight is for the 50" plasma TV! -_-

So the OP is correct I'm guessing?

    cistolic: Are you assuming 50" x 3 = 150" so 22kg x 3 = 66kg? Hmm...
  • New to this so hope this is the right thing to do

Big Screen Star: Panasonic 150-inch Life Screen

So, you thought your 50-inch high-definition (HD) plasma screen was big. Ha.

Matsushita, the maker of Panasonic TVs, has unveiled the mother of all HDTVs – the Life Screen. Measuring 150 inches diagonally, the Viera Life Screen is the world's largest flat panel (no kidding) and is big enough to display your average human being – that excludes NBA players – in full scale.

Details on the specs are scanty, except for a purported resolution of 2,160x4,096 pixels. The screen is slated for release next year and is meant primarily for commercial use and for the crazy uber-rich. Price? Undisclosed at the moment. But if you're considering getting one, it probably won't matter.

Have found this hope it helps
hdtv-1.jpgStory link: Panasonic unveils world’s biggest plasma TV</STRONG> by Jan Harris
Panasonic opened the CES event in Las Vegas by revealing ‘The Life Screen’, a 150 inch plasma TV which Panasonic claims is the world’s biggest plasma television set.
The TH46PXZ850 TV is designed for use as a billboard or display. The optimum viewing distance for a screen this size is 30 feet and it weighs between 1,500 and 1,800 pounds, so it isn’t going to appeal to the consumer market.
The model has a resolution of more than 8.84 million pixels (2,160 by 4,096). This is more than four times the typical resolution for HDTVs (1,080 by 1,920).
The TH46PXZ850 should be available in 2009, but pricing details have not yet been released. www.hdtv-news.co.uk/2008/01/11/panasonic-unveils-worlds-biggest-plasma-tv/
