What time is he/she due to call?
Make sure you've been to the loo and have tea/coffee/brandy/fags* to hand!

Good luck, let us know how it goes <fingers crossed>

Is it today?
Good luck!
If you get chance write a few questions down..things you might forget to ask later if you had chance.. remember to be as honest and open as you can & you'll sit back and wonder what all the fuss was about after its all done
you'll be fine

Well it went very well!
We went through my SOA section by section, I had already sent them my bank and credit card statements, wage slips and just for good measure I had gone through my bank statements and added a quick breakdown of what each regular payment was for and then listed any large payments and a description for each. I also included a copy of last years P60 and a summary of the spending on the credit card statements. Added to this a covering letter with a plea for my car and any other relevant information I could think of.
The interview started with a thank you for supplying the extra details (it had made the OR's job a little easier) and then off we went.
The good news is that my car is exempt, as is my daughters saving account and I do not have an IPA as I only have a small amount of excess cash from my I&E.
This has worried me a little as I was over budget by over £100 yet my OR told me that some things were not included (they didn't go into details) and they also included my partners earnings (she has not gone BR) and the child tax credit my partner receives.
But no IPA so I am relieved as we will still struggle to live until I can find a better paid job.
I had to go straight back to work as soon as I put the phone down and I have just got back home and eaten so things haven't really sunk in yet.
A beer or two tonight in front of the telly and a lie in (I am not working tomorrow) should enable me to finally draw a line under this stressful episode and I can start to look to the future once more (WITHOUT any credit ever again!!)
Many thanks to All who have helped me on this forum, it has made a difficult time easier to deal with. I will now try to help anyone else on here drawing from my own experiences.~:staradmin~BR January 15th 2008 ~:staradmin~*~:staradmin~*~*~E.D. Glad it went well for you CCS.
Can I be nosey and ask which bank the savings account is with, it;s just we've had occassions where banks have even closed though. Halifax seems to be the main culprit.

The savings account was opened for my daughter when she was born and it is with the halifax.....maybe we should take the money out and buy her some premium bonds for a while????tigerfeet2006 wrote: »Glad it went well for you CCS.

I would move it as the Halifax will close the account. There was a thread a few days ago.

Thanks for the link to that other thread I will now move my daughters account elsewhere as a matter of principle she is over seven years old now so can have an account in her own name only (I think)~:staradmin~BR January 15th 2008 ~:staradmin~*~:staradmin~*~*~E.D.
