Empire Direct Warranty

Hi I'm looking to buy a plasma tv TH42PZ7OB. Empire Direct isn't the cheapest but if you take into consideration the 5 yr warranty it is.
My question is how good their warranties are, is everything covered? The TV isn't in stock and hasn't been since before xmas ( even thought he website says 7/10 days) I don't know whether to continue waiting or cut my losses and pay more or wait.
If I'm buying an extended warranty I want it to be worth having, anyone any experience?
