i'm not sure where to post this but i need help with the clubcard deals please??
i have just recieved my first ever statement and vouchers, i got 2 x £6 vouchers, i want to take my kids to London Zoo (one of them will get in free as he's 2) but am confused on a few things,

firstly, i have a 2 for 1 voucher, does anyone know if i can use this and then pay with the clubcard voucher?

secondly, if i can do that, the amount i will need to pay is £18.50, so can i convert say £4.50 from my clubcard voucher (making £18 in deals) and then just pay the extra 50p? Or do i need enough converted vouchers to pay the whole amount? and if that's true then would i get change?

hope that makes sense as i've just confused myself even more!! would really appreciate any help, thanks

normally you cannot use deals with any other coupons,e.g the cafe rouge 2 for 1 can't be used with tesco so guess it will be the same for the zoo

You can pay partly with converted vouchers and also cash but it cant be used with another deal im afraid

You have to exchange them in multiple of £2.50, so with £9, you could get 3 (2 of 1 and 1 of the other) for a total of £7.50 (worth £30 at the restaurants) and the "change" will be credited back to your clubcard account. Definitely worth changing them as that gives you 6 months to use them and you can always send them back before the 6 months is up if you change your mind.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

    Hi everyone,

just applied for my first clubcard today at tesco and got my temporary one, used this in-store at tesco and did the rest of my shopping online (and i have assigned my temporary card to it) but none of the coupons worked. Is this normal for temporary cards?

    Thanks

According to mysupermarket.co.uk - I saved £15 off my weekly shop by using Tesco instead of sainsburys - and I always thought tesco was expensive!

I have just managed to find out my points balance online after around two months of being unable to do so( due to a fault with their servers) and 500 bonus points that should have been on the May statement are missing as are 400 dating back to December which I complained in about December and March and was promised them in the May statement at the latest.
Has anyone else been having this problem with Tesco books?

The points from the wine club are usually applied after a few days.
Once I return to the UK then I will clearly have to escalate my complaint and attempt to get them applied before the August statement. Luckily I have the receipts that clearly show the extra points should have been applied.

did you mean the codes that are online did not worl? This is largely luck of the draw as some work for some people but not others, keep an eye out for new ones and use as soon as you see them as some that work at 1st then stop working

Posted over in another thread - seems a bit quiet there,

From another site someone got a letter stating 250 points just for calling 08453010749 to get a quote

You'll also get 1 Clubcard Point for every £2 of your car insurance premium each month [this is possibly a type or one of those promos they won't honour as I understood this to mean your policy costs £200 and you get 100 extra CC points a month, but was told you'd only get 100]
Bla, bla, bla, ....Apply online and get 15% discount...

or give us a ring and claim 250 clubcard points!
...Our friendly and helpful UK-based team are ready to hear from you - just give them a ring on 08453010749 (Typetalk 18001 0845 301 07 49) for a quote or to apply for cover, the great news is you'll get 250 points just for getting a quote...

This has happened before - you MUST get a reference number even for the quote, otherwise you don't receive them.
