hi all!!!!
Wonder if anyone can help me....
I have 2 hand made, one of a kind bears sitting at home feeling very unloved as i have no where to display them.
I've advertised them on ebay to try to find them a nice home but no one wanted them:o
I think they are worth about £50 each and have all the labels attached.
Does anyone have any ideas where i can try to sell them? They are truly wasted here and I may as well send them to a kind home and pay my money off my debt.
I also have 2 harrods bears, a 1998 bear and a millenium bear, my 1999 bear went on ebay and sold but no luck with the other 2.
Any suggestions gratefully received!!!
Kind regards
P

I would persevere with Ebay - but go worldwide. I had a Merrythought "Buttermilk" who went to Canada, and a Merrythought "Mr Whoppitt" who went to Washington..... I guess they can't get the better bears in the Colonies! I have to say though, it took a couple of listings to sell them.
Good Luck,

How about checking out the auction houses? They sometimes have specialist sales for these kinds of things and it'll be selling it to the right audience...0

Ooh I've just remembered the name of the auction house in Shrewsbury, Halls, it's on the river and they frequently hold toys and collectibles sales and lots of teddies pass through there...
I knew growing up in teddy bear central would be handy for something one day
