I was advised to stay clear of these on another forum. Is it for yourself or a child as I can recommend a childs modelling agency? Also look on Alba website for registered modelling agencies and any other info like Dos and Dont`s of registration fees, charges for photos etc

I looked at a lot of modelling agencies for my son and in my opinion the best one was bizzykidz. I had to send some photos off and he has now been accepted on their books.

If you do a google search on them people do speak very highly of the Company.

Hope this is of help to you.

There is a one of cost of £120 which is up to the age of 17yrs this covers all admin costs for when you update your childs photo since they will need updating regularly when they are growing and their features change etc. They dont have money off you until they accept you and you dont need to have experience photos done either.

Your best bet is to look at their site and read up on it, and also read up on the information on alba models site.

They are in Kent but I live four hours away from there! When you fill out the application form they list your nearest city and which ones you would go to for work.

I don't have any experience with bizzykids BUT I would say ANY AGENCY REQUIRING YOU TO PAY stay away from.

Real Agencies take a fee from the work they get for you. They do NOT charge you to accept your photos or to put you in their files.

There are many so called agencies out there who make a lot of money out of conning people into believing that they are going to get work when the chances of them are slim to none.

Send your photos to agencies to DO NOT charge you up front. They may take a fee when they have got you work but that fee comes from the people who want you. e.g the agency takes 20% of the job fee, the company who want to hire you pay the modelling agency £200 who then give you £160 after taking their cut.

If they want a joining fee, photo fee, filing fee, admin fee or whatever they call it stay away.

The real agencies either put you on their books for free and find you work or they tell you they don't want you.
