I noticed that the review said that the unit does not have a NICAM decoder, which is true but if you are recording off a video recorder tuner, SKY, or Freeview with stereo inputs then you should be fine.
Also the editing on +RW seems to be improved in the manual anyway! Eg. remove adverts etc. The editing is never great on recorders without Hard disks or DVD-RAM, so don't expect the earth.

they've been selling that Blaupunkt CD Changer at that sort of price for ages - it was first posted in this thread back in March, so that makes their Today only ticket on that a bit of a joke

I'm not up to speed on the In car stuff but it looked ok. The DVD recorder is an OK deal, if you don't want the DivX I suppose.Seth.0 -
Delivery seems a bit steep for the phone at £7 + Vat
Are there any cheaper options i've missed?0 -

Having tried out Philips, Panasonic, BT, NTL and Binatone DECT phones I have to say Philips aren't the most asthetic but certainly give the best reception. All the others break up well before the Philips did when moving away from the base station. My current phones are Panasonic and have to say I am disappointed with the clarity of signal....they look nice but what are phones for?0

For the phones, I'd recommend checking out the reviews on Amazon before you buy them. Not sure if it's exactly the same model, but doing a search for "onis 300" brings back a couple of Philips phones with really poor reviews.0

Agreed the some reviews are very poor, others are not so bad..

If you live near Scan might be worth a punt, as the P&P goes way, if you are on a budget. But the P&P is high so return postage etc might not be worth the effort!
I think the unit take AAA batteries.
Worth checking the warantee with Scan?Seth.0 -
Yes watch out for Scams postage charges. I bought a TV card for £35 with £8 postage so to make it easier I also bought two ink carts for £3. the TV card was faulty so returned it at more cost, they refudned me for the card but as I had bought two ink carts they wouldnt refund me for the postage. It cost me £15 in the end for the ink.0
