food delivery ideas please

i have been having a read of these threads today, and keep seeing everyone having a go at supermarket meat and veg. i would love to try the delivery boxes people suggest. does anyone know any lists or particular people that do that to the london/essex border? they all seem to deliver miles away!

Another vote for Riverford - we've just started up again after a year going without. The vegetables are superb - excellent quality and plenty of them. We get the winter box which has (I think) 9 different vegetables. Works out cheaper than the supermarket organic range....
You might have a local organic scheme - do you have a healthfood shop nearby? They might be able to point you in the right direction...
