I have other Netgear equipment so i am staying with the same manufacturer, but you may also wish to look at Belkin, Linksys etc as many are bringing out new wireless technology - but bear in mind that there are no standards yet so you need to be mindful of future compatability issues when choosing a product.

I think its actually a netgear promotion. They did the same thing last year when I bought my wireless kit. All re-sellers will be offering it within the week and the offer lasts till the end of the month.

Amazon have it on sale for £85 and a choice of the PCMCIA card or the USB dongle equivalent.
