I'm delighted it went well at Court; we ought to start a dedicated Thread for all of us that have been to Court with Repossession Orders; as reassurance to the others who will surely follow.
Is the £3k a quote for selling the house including legal fees?

 Hi gina,
I did see that; £15 for each meter; £120 per month. Are you sure it was £15 per week, and not per month? That is an horrendous amount.
When we were in rented acomodation we incurred some hefty bills, and then couldn't afford to pay them when we moved back to our old house. I contacted the companies concerned and offered them £25 per month and they were hapy with that. One of the companies was the supplier when we moved back to our old house and that didn't cause any problems.
It's difficult to know what to suggest if the outstanding bills will be included in your bankruptcy and they're insisting on meters.
I'll have a think and a look around. Keep bumping the Thread to the top so that is doesn't get missed.

 Hi
I work for one of the energy suppliers and hate to say this but if you refuse them entry to the property they can return with a warrant (if they havent already got one) and force entry to the property and also bill you for the services of a locksmith to install a new lock. In my training and just from generaly doing my job it doesnt take the energy companies long to get a warrant either.
I dont mean to sound harsh and am just trying to help as the last thing you need is more hassle. I also know that some, if not all of the energy companies have special grants in place to help people. I owe on my last property we lived in but thankfully it hasnt got that far.................................yet.Wins This Year - 2/1 Dog coat.

Ask to speak to a Team Leader in the relevant department, and explain the situation re money etc and see if they can do anything> If they cant then go to CAB asap and get them to comunicate with the energy supplier. As they cannot leave you with nothing to live on hun and £15 on each per week is a awful lot. Can I ask how much the debt is for? As dont recall ever seeing that kind of repayment on a account..
Hope you can get it sorted Hun and I hope I have helped, even if in a small way. Let me know how you go and if you need any further advice please feel free to ask hun.Wins This Year - 2/1 Dog coat.

 Hi gina,
Is the £120 per month the cost of the meters plus a payment towards the arrears?
