  • If there's any other way of financing this deal, I would use that.
Unless they're offering 0% finance for a fixed period & you'll be paying it off in that period in full.
Also, if you're strapped for cash (which I assume as you're considering taking out DSG finance), do you really need this TV?
    Remember Martin's money saving mantra.
And, note that the technology is still evolving, so if you buy a lower spec one it may well be outmoded in 2 years time.

Just my thoughts for you, take em or leave em. :-)

  • well im not strapped cash,i just think it would be the easier option.plus ill be paying it off in 10 months which is good.I really dont mind if its low-spec in a few years,im not really a tech guy so it wouldnt matter to me.im just wondering why dixons state that you can choose finance at the checkout but you cant

Have a look at the Dixons finance options here

Not exactly good deals. Avoid. You would be foolish to buy using Dixons' Finance.

  • given the poor rates, it probably a good thing... use a 0% credit card instead, much better plan :-)

yea i had same problem. Its because late at night and sometimes weekends they take down the finance from the checkout.. do it daytime during the week and it should work

I would buy a £150 telly and shun the finance......... Its not the best deal ever mate and if your not a tech guy then?........ A 0% or even lob card could buy it for you at a cheap rate though.
  • i don't see the issue here, dixon's are usually very competitive with prices against other major retailers and they offer a 0% 12 month option...

don't forget to use SALE25 and WATCH5 promotion codes when buying, you can use them both and save 7.5% :rotfl:

  • Apparently both Dixons and Currys have stopped doing finance online. I rang them up and they said it wasn't being offered anymore. I assuming they have fallen out with HFC.
