OK, I'm usually a fab moneysaver, I've reclaimed all my bank charges and I try and always look out for new ways to save money. So, this came up and I could use some advice..
Hubby and I have bought a new (secondhand) car. The car is an import model from Japan. We love it, it is our dream car and as such we want to protect the newly polished up paintwork, as hubby drives alot of miles we would like to do what we can to make sure it remains looking so good for as long as possible.
So we read about a thing called RhinoProtect which is basically a film thing that goes over the car and protects it. We know a few people who have had it done and they all recommend it. To get it done will cost us over £600.
We looked on their website and saw this:
>>>>>>
If we don't have your 'Complete' kit you can get it fitted FREE, saving you up to £700! Basically bring the car to us, we will template it and fit your kit FREE all you pay is £199.99 for the film.
To qualify:
So we checked and they did not have our kit in stock. We emailed them as we meet the criteria above, although it is not a UK model. We knew there was a good chance of them not having our kit in stock, as our car is an import, but it did not say that the car had to be a UK model.
And they told us we don't qualify, as our car is not a UK model, the whole job will cost £699. They have now updated their website, so the offer only applies to UK model cars.
So, am I being cheeky, or should I press this? They updated the website today, literally hours after emailing us to say we don't qualify.
What should I do? Am I being waaaay too cheeky and should just leave it, or should I press it as to be honest, we did qualify at the time we saw the website?

To qualify:
- The car must be currently in production.
- It must be standard (don't worry about wheels and exhausts)
- You must bring the car to us in Uxbridge
- Does not apply to Full Frontal Kits

I'd leave it unless you can prove what the website said at the time you e-mailed them.
But chances are they will so no anyway as they don't by rights have to do it.
