Currently i have £2200 on credit cards, 1500 overdraft, 7500 loan and another 2000 loan. and the 14000 student loan from my hedinistic days at uni.

Enough is enough this is the year i do something about it, so thought if i put it in writing it may give me some extra impetous and hopefully some support.

I've balance transfered my CC so i am on interest free. i Have opened a new account and have worked out my expendable cash each month and am transfereing this over each month, the other account is gonna be for my bills.

I'm in the process of opening a Cash ISA, basically i'm gonna continue paying min payments on my CC and put extra each month into the ISA, this way i'll have made some interest and can pay a lump some on my CC when the interest period is over.

My 2000 pound loan (interest free through a laser eye finance package) is due to end in Sept freeing up 120quid, i'm gonna start "snowballing" this onto my other debts.

My theory is i'll be cc free in a year and only have one loan left, at which point i will have changed my payments to almost triple what i pay now and as such should bring the period down so i'll be free of this in 2.5 years instead of 5.

Wish me Luck, gonna be hard and a long journey i'm sure!

Once i'm free of this debt i can finally achieve my dream of starting fresh in Australia or Dubai, till then its the english weather for me:(
