Fuji s5000 Digital Camera

I am interested in buying this camera (Fuji S5000) but the lowest price I can find is £279. Can anyone else find a cheaper price?

i purchased the fuji s5500 digital camera 2 days ago

from jessops on a price match from a site called cameras2u

its the model up from the s5000 and has more features and 1m pixels more then the s5000

You could try a factory refurbished camera direct from Fuji. They sell them on their website with 12 month guarantee. The s5000 is £199.99, and there are a few others that look like very good deals compared with new prices.

Get the Fuji S602 from their refurb store it is the same price as the S5000, but far superior!

I have read one several occasions that Jessops may price match it depends on the managers discretion apparently. Jut bring along a printed copy of the web page containing the camera and ask, got nowt to loose by that anyhow.

Or you could do yourself a favour and Buy the Kodak
equivalent, it comes with its own lithium battery.
This is what made me go for that one instead of the Fuji.

Bought a S7000, excellent camera - CF cards cheap, takes AA's. Movie mode ace.

Also bought the 610 but its not as good, although more compact.

Both cameras from fuji refurb, ace quality.

S7000 is a different kettle of fish...and you pay the extra for it.

Probably not fair to compare with S602....much more comparable and IMHO better than S5000.
