So dissapointed...(updated)

Hi all, does anyone know how the Kinder Bueno's 'A little bit of what you fancy' competition worked?

I ask because the photo I uploaded of our pet rat Homer was 'voted 1st' when the competition closed on Tuesday 15 January, and if you go on there now he's still there in all his glory! However, I still hadn't received an email from them on Friday, (it states winners will be notified within 72 hours) so I emailed them instead. I received a reply from them today stating '<FONT color=#000080><FONT face=Arial>All winners have been drawn and they should have received a mail advising them of their win by now.'

I thought the winners were the ones with the most votes, not who they 'draw'?

Thought I'd just have a bit of a moan, I was so excited when I thought I'd won, could do with some new clothes!!

Notification of the winners: The winners will be the senders of the ten photos which receive the most votes from visitors to the site, The winners will be notified by email within 72 hours after the closing date of 15th January 2008. Winners will receive an email within 72 hours of the competiton closing date notifying them of their win and asking them to confirm acceptance of the prize. All participants must ensure they provide a valid email address and are contactable on the same email address used for entry.

That's really weird, your picture says voted first, but then there's also a top 10, so I don't really know what's going on with that there

Thats what confuses me (mind, I am easily confused!!), he was in the top ten, and then when he was voted 1st he dropped out of the ten!
I may email them again tomorrow to see if they can clarify it as it is a tad confusing.

Hi I didn't enter /see this comp, but perhaps Homer was only voted 1st on that day & someone else had more votes than Homer on another day
No idea, but I really hope you get your prize, I'd contact them again & ask them to explain to you how they picked the winner
