thanks charlotte. I was just about to buy my contacts from D&A because you get 1/2 price glasses. but their glasses are expensive and if i didnt get them 1/2 price i wouldve looked eslewhere.

Now i can get my contacts from here. They are cheaper than D&A too!

Thanks! I've just been online and ordered my next three months of lenses. It couldn't be easier and I save £3.00 a month (I though Spec savers was cheap but this is better. )I also think these are better quality lenses than the Specsavers own brand, but not sure. With the triple points and using my Tesco visa , and free post and packaging, all in all an excellent deal. Ofcourse the real test will be to see when they are delivered etc. I like the way they get your presciption from your optician rather than you having to go to the hassle of getting it. :j

Specsavers own brand contact lenses are just re badged lens's by the main makers of lenses, so in terms of quality there is really not much difference.

Also the tesco site does not have a huge range of lenses to choose from, especially to somewhere like postoptics.

are typically still cheaper if you need 6 or more boxes....

Also, this seller below is pretty cheap even AFTER the £6.95 delivery charge.

    http://www.discountcontactlenses.com

3months of focus dailes = £57 at tesco

    3months of focus dailes = £49.95 (£43+£6.95 delivery at DCL.com)

works out cheaper still the more you buy.

    Seconded.

I was going to use http://www.coastalcontacts.co.uk/ the last time I bought lenses but I wasn't keen that they didn't seem to make it clear whether their lenses were shipped from overseas or UK. I have used VisionDirect a few times now and the service has always been excellent with very fast delivery.

Yes but some convenience and risk benefits where you can buy in person. I think I heard Sainsbury's were going to do this as well.

I have used https://www.cluboptique.com several times for daily disposables and find them very efficient and cheap. They have a price match policy as far as I can remember but I never found anyone cheaper so did not have to try this out !!!

I have also used visiiondirect but got clobbered by import tax !!!
Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!

    Hi,
Coastal contacts are shipped from the US mainly, in bulk to their distribution centre in the UK. They are then forwarded to the customer. I have used them twice. Both times a good service.
